Town Talk Gold Polishing Cloth

Town Talk's gold cloth is 100% cotton impregnated with jeweller's rouge — the same fine polishing compound a bench jeweller runs on a mop, held in a cloth so it can be used by hand.

Rouge cuts very lightly. It lifts surface marks and handling dirt and brings the shine back. It is not a tarnish remover: gold does not tarnish the way silver does, though lower-carat alloys will dull over time.

Suitable for gold, rose gold, platinum and palladium. White gold only where it is not rhodium plated — rouge will wear plating off.

Not for gemstones. Use it on the metal around a stone, not on the stone.

Reusable, and it keeps working as long as it is not washed. It darkens with use; that is the cloth working, not dirt.
