Shipping policy

Every piece is packed and posted from the UK. Orders are dispatched within two working days, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. You will receive tracking by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.

All orders are sent tracked and require a signature. We cannot deliver to a PO Box. Please check your address is correct before completing your order, as we cannot redirect a parcel once it has been posted.

United Kingdom

Postage. Royal Mail Tracked 48 at £5.00, available on orders up to £149.99. Aims to arrive within two to three working days, fully tracked. Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm at £9.95. Next working day by 1pm, with signature on delivery, fully tracked and insured.

Customs. None. Nothing to pay on delivery.

United States

Postage. International Tracked and Signed at £25.99 on orders up to £250, £29.99 above that. Tracked with signature on delivery and insured to full value. Delivery typically takes seven to fourteen working days.

There is a minimum order value of £100 for delivery to the United States. Smaller parcels cost more to send and clear through customs than they are worth, so we would rather be straight with you than charge postage that outweighs the piece. If your basket is under £100 you will not be offered a shipping option at checkout.

Customs. Import duty is calculated and charged at checkout, so the total you see is the total you pay. Your parcel is sent delivered duty paid and nothing further is owed on arrival.

If a carrier contacts you asking for additional charges, please do not pay them. Email sam@sundowntradingpost.com with your order number and we will sort it out.

European Union

Postage. International Tracked and Signed at £16.99 on orders up to £250, £20.99 above that. Tracked with signature on delivery and insured to full value. Delivery typically takes five to seven working days, though customs can add to this.

Customs. Import charges are not included at checkout and are payable to the carrier on delivery.

Since 1 July 2026 every parcel entering the EU carries a flat customs duty per item, and your own country's VAT is charged on top. Your carrier will usually add a small handling fee for collecting it. These charges are set by the destination country, not by us.

Rest of world

There is a minimum order value of £100 for delivery outside the UK and EU, for the same reason as above. If your basket is under £100 you will not be offered a shipping option at checkout.

Customs. Import duties and taxes are not included at checkout and are payable to the carrier on delivery. Thresholds and rates vary by country and we cannot advise on them in advance.

If a parcel is refused and returned to us because these charges were not paid, we will refund the price of the goods less our outbound postage and any costs incurred in its return.
